From the Director's Desk

From the Ranch Directors Desk,

What an incredibly Blessed year we have had.  We have welcomed four new board members: Pam Dimmerman, Mike Stanaland, Ray Pate, and Chuck Vaughn to the Potter’s Ranch Board.  We have hired a new full-time Equine Director, JoEllen Mullins, and her husband Eric Mullins has joined the maintenance and activity staff.  Their daughter Jessica is a PATH instructor and has joined the team as well. We hired Ted Griswold who is very versatile and helps with every department on the ranch.

Even with all these additions, we are looking for Camp Counselors, tutors and instructors for our upcoming 2019 Kids Quest summer programs.  Eight weeks of Adventure Camp, eight weeks of Horse Camp, four weeks of Dyslexia Camp with opportunities for overnight and day camping. There will be opportunities for some summer staff lodging.  Send resumes to tony@pottersranch.org. You can visit http://quest.pottersranch.org/ for more information.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with all the guest services throughout the year and especially the anticipated busy summer.  You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer individually, volunteer groups events are scheduled with our Administration team. We had a great time at our volunteer appreciation dinner this year.  Our volunteers and donors helped us have a very successful Garden Gala again this year and our Children’s Christmas Adventure was a blessing to 56 children and all the adults that attended. Plenty of opportunities to get those required school volunteer hours and community service hours for all our scouting friends.  We also have plenty of projects available for Eagle Scout projects, Girl Scout Take Action project, American Heritage Girls Stars and Stripes project, Awana Journey Service project, and Trail Life Servant Leadership project.

We are always looking for donations.  You can make a monetary donation right on our website https://www.pottersranch.org/donate.php. We are always looking for construction materials and equipment, mulch, landscaping materials, sawdust for our horse stalls, and working washers and dryers.

We continue to support our pastors and church leaders by providing them with low to no cost prayer day options.  There are also still opening for winter and spring church events. You can speak with Aaron Barker our Administrative Director about availability and group pricing.
